Jebo - simply phenomenal

Jebo

JEBO is the acclaimed rock band with whom James Hollingsworth is lead vocalist and frontman. They are currently working on their second album with legendary producer John Burns who is famous for his work with Genesis, Jethro Tull, John Martyn, Burning Spear, Fela Ransome Kuti and many others. JEBO's debut album, Sinking Without You, was also produced by John Burns and mixed by Ben Findlay of Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios.

Born out of the world-class and empassioned songwriting of ex-K-Passa guitarist, Rob Allen and drummer Jeff France, JEBO have been compared to Pearl Jam, Genesis and The Who but with a timeless sound all of their own. James joined the band in 2003 and they have played many successful gigs including The Royal Albert Hall a memorable appearance at the Classic Rock Society, supporting Mostly Autumn and also at Loreley on 21 July 2007, supporting the original line-up of ASIA, Jethro Tull and Fish.

Follwing a successful tour of Europe in the summer of 2007 culminating in a memorable performance at Loreley in Germany, supporting ASIA, Fish and Jethro Tull, the band are currently in the studio working with John Burns (Genesis, Jethro Tull, John Martyn and others).

What people are saying about Jebo:

"I have seen many bands in my (long) life. I have seen Deep Purple at their best. I have seen bands ranging from The Eagles to the Stones and JEBO are on a par with these greats. "
(Live Review - Bristol Rocks)

"Espousing the true rock and roll ethic of playing live and loud, JEBO are custodians of a sound that takes its lineage from all great British bands, with the emphasis on finely crafted songs and a captivating live performance."

"Whereas some bands take themselves seriously and shouldn't - JEBO take music and response seriously - resulting in undeniable respect from those who have rarely seen modesty and talent unified so sweetly."
