Powderburn is a name that fans in the underground metal scene have come to recognize and like - quite a lot in fact
This hardcore metal act spawned in October 1998 from guitarist Josh Klayman's fuddled brain while he was living in a small apartment in Austin, Texas. Now they've reached the stage where, with the combined efforts of guitarist Ken Lockman from New Jersey, bassist Greg Enkler and drummer Patrick Swift from New York, Powderburn are quickly making a big impact on the metal music scene.
Powderburn and are getting their name about both nationally and internationally using the power of the internet and living the rock lifestyle with relentless touring. Hard core rockers who work hard and play hard, Powderburn are bringing their own brand of heavy metal to the masses. These
guys have been awarded the title of best metal band in Austin, Texas for three out of the last four years, they've been
playing alongside such metal masters as Slayer, The Misfits, Sepultura, and Anthrax. Not a bad pedigree really.
Hard core rock is where its at for Powderburn, they've had a couple of line up changes along the way and now have new management, in true rock style they go for it. So when are you hitting the UK guys?

deliver a blend of metal with ear splitting hard-hitting riffs, because the band vocal sound is vested in three quite different vocal deliveries the end sound can be pretty diverse. The stage presence is all there - these guys do not disappoint and engaging with the crowd is a vital part of the whole Powderburn experience. What are they like eh?
