Rainbow Spirit Enlightenment Fayre - New for Wales

After a total organisational shambles this event was finally cancelled. An organiser who appears to have promised much and delivered very little - well - delivered nothing at all in fact. Simply could not recommend this organiser for the future if this is a sample of what is achievable from Rainbow Spirit and Arthur E Turner-Thomas.

An exciting new and eclectic 4 day festival is being launched in Wales this August. Festival organiser and founder Arthur E Turner-Thomas has fought long and hard to bring this one to fruition this year and has beaten the odds to bring you 4 full days of festival fun.

One of the great things about this festival is the fact that it's giving 100% of all profits to various local charities including:
Barnardos | Bobath Children's Therapy Centre Wales | Bucketful of Hope | Follow Your Dreams | Longtown Mountain Rescue Team | Mencap Wales | RSPB (Cymru) | SARDA Wales | SARA | Tenovus

They say it's’s got a snappy little title! Rainbow Spirit Enlightenment Fayre Music and Arts Festival - try saying that after a few beers! it’s being held at Chepstow Racecourse and is due to happen from 9th to 12th August 2007

The debut event aims to highlight musical cultures from around the world, including jazz, folk, classical, indie, rock music and it also intends to stimulate art and design creativity. A whole area of the site will be set aside specifically for alternative medicine and various forms of religious expression.

Festival founder, Arthur E Turner-Thomas told safeconcerts that:

“It will be somewhat unconventional, a bit innovative and certainly creative. Often we wonder how connected we all are as individual beings living in a collective society. We constantly analyze how much we really consider each other. We are not solitary souls adrift in a world of chaos, though we may feel that at times. We are dynamic, creative, expressive individuals constantly contributing to the components of life and thus we create our world. Complexity and chaos theories state, persons operate under the constraints of limited control and unpredictability, so require new perspectives to learn from the chaos and complexity within which they operate. Human sciences are in contentious development, theories are problematic; one should reflect on what is sensible to do, think of human actions and encourage a sense of experience”.
