Hard Rock Hell have teamed up with Metal Hammer for the inaugural Hammerfest – which will take place over the weekend of the 24th to 25th April 2009 at Pontins, Prestatyn Sands, North Wales.
The festival will feature more than 50 metal bands taking to the stage across six arenas and will include a bumper line up of established metal and rock acts – with celebrated veterans rubbing shoulders with the metal scenesters of today - alongside the future of metal’s upcoming talent, as championed by Metal Hammer.
Line up includes:
Opeth, Paradise Lost, Saxon, Alestorm, Annotations Of An Autopsy, Architects, Attica Rage, Avarus, Bleed From Within, Blood Island Raiders, Cathedral, Dream Evil, Evile, Exit Ten, Firebrand Super Rock, Gama Bomb, Grand Magus, HammerFall, Imicus, Kiuas, Lethargy, Many Things Untold, Marya Roxx, Mencea, Mutant, NEX, Open The Skies, Power Quest, Sabbat, Sacred Mother Tongue, Sepultura, Skindred, Sworn Amongst, Sylosis, Tesseract, The Argent Dawn, The Dead Lay Waiting, The Hollow Earth Theory, The Mirimar Disaster, The Morning After, Thirteenth Sign, Trigger The Bloodshed, Tyr, Voodoo Six, Warpath, Waylander, With Chaos In Her Wake and Wolf.
We have 5 pairs of tickets to give away . Note: you will need to be 16 or over to enter, these tickets will entitle you to a weekend wrist band, however this prize does not include accommodation.

- Prize is non transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- You must be a registered user of the Safeconcerts.com website
- No contestant email addresses will be published on the Safe Concerts website.
- The competition is open to UK residents only
- Safeconcerts will pick a winner at random from the entries submitted
- By entering the Competition, you signify that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete.
- By entering the Competition you agree to abide by the Rules
- Safeconcerts reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.
- In the event that any entrant is disqualified from the Competition, Safeconcerts reserves the right to decide whether a replacement contestant should be selected. In this event, any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these same Rules.
