RockNess will be held Friday 12th–Sunday 14th June 2009 with the main stage running across three days for the first time in the festival’s four year history.
Tucked away in a natural amphitheatre in Dores (close to Inverness - just off the A9), next to the mystical Loch Ness and set against the rolling hills of the stunning Scottish highlands, RockNess is the ultimate place to get away and experience such a visual and aural feast. The main stage is perfectly placed on the banks of the loch for revellers to enjoy the hottest bands and DJs in the world.
This year will be the best yet with more arenas, fantastic themed pubs, diverse and exciting festival food, the friendliest campsite and (in conjunction with the award-winning Bestival team) the grand return of the Nesstival area, which brings the renowned Bollywood arena, gorgeous cocktails, laidback atmosphere, dressing up tent, the Black Isle Pub and the Whisky Bar. Not to be missed is RockNess’s salute to its Scottish hosts with a fun Highland Fayre where you can sample the delights of traditional Lochfyne foods, practice your highland flings with ceilidh dancing and even get involved with some cabre tossing!

- You must be 18 or over to enter.
- Prize is non transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- You must be a registered user of the Safeconcerts.com website, have activated your account and agreed to receive the Safeconcerts newsletter
- No contestant email addresses will be published on the Safe Concerts website.
- The competition is open to UK residents only
- Safeconcerts will pick a winner from the entries submitted, contributions to the forum and or gig reviews will be taken into account when picking our winner
- If a winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours the prize will be allocated to a runner up.
- By entering the Competition, you signify that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete.
- By entering the Competition you agree to abide by the Rules
- Safeconcerts reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.
- In the event that any entrant is disqualified from the Competition, Safeconcerts reserves the right to decide whether a replacement contestant should be selected. In this event, any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these same Rules.
