Nuts In May is set to be Cumbria’s newest festival and takes place over the bank holiday weekend 4-6 May 2012, just outside Workington. Held on fifty acres of specially landscaped woodland.
Nuts in May has a dedicated arena, owned by the organisers, which means that it is tailor made (mostly by nature) to be beautiful, intimate and relaxing.
You'll love exploring the woodland clearings, just as much as you'll enjoy the entertainment, international food, workshops, arts and crafts.
The covered venues are located to give each one a unique atmosphere, whilst the Jack in the Green (main) Stage is situated within its own tree-lined amphitheatre and there's even a dedicated area just for kids.
You can expect all the usual amenities to help keep you happy, healthy and safe. Fresh water taps are available, the loos will be patrolled by a dedicated team of meticulous cleaners and the arena picked clean each night by the indigenous wombles.
Saturday night is fancy dress night. There is no set theme - that's left up to your imagination but there are prizes for the best fancy dress outfits!
