Tickets won by Rachel Bevan Sadly this event was cancelled
This competition is now closed, sorry

Safeconcerts have teamed up with Wowfest to offer you the chance to win a pair of tickets to the Isle of Wight's brightest and newest shindig. A great line up awaits with acts like Heaven 17, Madeleine Peyroux, Maxi Priest, Paul Oakenfold, Soul II Soul, The Beat, The Selecter, The Wailers, The Blockheads, UB40, Bad Manners, 808 State, Aswad, The Pretty Things and many, many more.

The first ever Wowfest festival is due to take place on the Isle of Wight from 17-19th August 2012.

There's 5 main stages & an African Village of activity under the ancient St Martins Down all set for 3 days of diverse & heterogenous music, in a place where culture meets harmony, all culminating in one triumphant global party… WOWfest!

The sunshine trail cycle route leads you to an eclectic mix of music, dance & entertainment from across the globe, whilst roaming performers will regale you into a world comedic mystique over the festive weekend.

Each night, after hours when the live music has stopped, WOWfest will transform into a sensual site of party Club Nights, with massive names from the world of DJ, plus corners remeniscent of pre-war Berlin and turn of the century France encompassing the razzamatazz of satire, burlesque and cabaret.

Wherever you are, the dance-floors will swirl into nostalgia and great dance movements with godfathers of the decks, after days soaked in massive names from the worlds of Reggae & Ska, 70s & 80s originals, Soul, Jazz, African traditions, House, Dub, Psychedilia and good times beats, all combining to bring you WOWfest - the brightest and biggest new festival of the year - THE Global Party.

So - if you want to be at the newest Isle of Wight festival this August enter our competition now.
