When cosmic disco wizard Prins Thomas announced his new bi-monthly residency at Corsica Studios, organisers were hoping that at some point he would convince frequent studio partner Lindstrøm to join him on the Air Norway Express.
 
Still they didn’t expect it to be this soon, but now with Ekstravaganza #2 and Thomas has put together an early Christmas present for London’s ever growing disco community in the shape of one of the best line-ups you’re likely to see all year.
 
Playing together for the first time in London for several years Thomas will be joined by the aforementioned Hans-Peter Lindstrøm who will be performing an absolutely unmissable live set. One of the most pivotal figures in recent dance history, Lindstrøm has been at the forefront of the recent cosmic disco renaissance with tracks such as I Feel Space and the astonishing 30 minute long Where You Go I Go Too taking the dancefloor to new heights of blissfull abandon.
 
Completing the Scando-Disco connection is long time Full Pupp producer and resident DJ for the label’s Oslo nights, Magnus International. Alongside Thomas he will be digging deep into his collection to bring the finest music from the frozen north.
 
If the main room is soundtracked by the more ethereal excesses of disco, room 2 will represent the genres more earthly delights. Joining the dots between the bath house and the warehouse and channelling the spirit of disco’s decadent pioneers will be the all conquering Horse Meat Disco, Black Cock’s Gerry Rooney and the evergreen Warm Residents.

Do not be mistaken this will be a sweaty, unadulterated bearpit of fun.
