Get Loaded In The Park London
30th August 2009

Get Loaded describe themselves as an 'indie meets dance' crossover event and claim to be bringing 'mischief and mayhem' to South London. Get Loaded in the Park 2009 will once again be spanning more musical genres than ever before and offering you the ultimate festival experience.

Now returning for its 6th year of indie-crazed-rock and electro-jackin-dance, Lock N Load is bringing you London’s definitive inner city festival  Get Loaded in the Park will be swaggering back into town on Bank Holiday Sunday 30th August for another epic encounter on the capital’s finest field – Clapham Common.

In 2008 Lock N Load's award-winning festivals (South West Four takes place the day before) reached heady new heights with their most widely acclaimed weekend to date. Appearances by DJ heavyweights Carl Cox, John Digweed, Erick Morillo, Danny Tenaglia, Armin van Buuren and Sven Vath confirmed South West Four as southern England’s leading dance festival, whilst Iggy & the Stooges, Supergrass, Gossip, Kate Nash, Gogol Bordello, The Hives, Soulwax, DJ Yoda and Boys Noize were amongst the acts that rocked it at Get Loaded in the Park. Meanwhile, the world record attempt to get the highest number of people doing the ‘running man’ dance at any one time (as a tribute to Utah Saints’ video for ‘Something Good’!) came a close runner up at last year’s UK Festival Awards for ‘Most Memorable Moment’. .. If it hadn't been for that Jay Z fella for Glasto ‘Wonderwall’.....
