Swedish House Mafia To Take Over 02 Brixton Academy
7th November 2009

In an unprecedented move, electronic music’s premier outfit, Swedish House Mafia, have announced they’ll be taking over London’s Brixton Academy on 7th November 2009.

This will be Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso’s first Swedish House Mafia show in the UK capital since they sold out Camden’s Koko in March 2008, where they were accompanied by the London Breakbeat Orchestra. 

Tickets go on sale today (Monday 22nd June). Guests and further information will be announced soon.

Swedish House Mafia are currently to be found in Ibiza every Monday at Pacha, where the Dark Forest has become one of the island’s most anticipated new nights in years, Swedish House Mafia are now house music’s biggest act. The trio have collaborations forthcoming with Pharrell (N.E.R.D), and are writing for Warner Music priority, Kid Sister, while their current single with Laidback Luke, ‘Leave The World Behind’, is fast becoming THE summer dance anthem.

The Dark Forest launches on Monday 22nd June. Forthcoming guests this season include Dizzee Rascal, Basement Jaxx, Dirty South, Sharam (Deep Dish), Bob Sinclar, Mark Knight, Funkagenda, Kim Fai and An21.
