The Great Escape Festival
13-15th May 2010

Three days of international music at its best -  Barfly - The Great Escape is by day, a series of insightful interviews with leading figures from the music industry by night, a festival of the very best new artists from across the globe, with over 200 bands and artists playing 25 different venues and all within a short walk of  Brightons city centre.

Great Escape has grown its reputation on the festival’s ability to spot the best new talent.

An important area of the Great Escape programme is the wealth of talent bought to Brighton from all over the world to perform at the festival.  Each year a country is selected and spotlighted in the line-up.  Previous years have seen both Canada, France and Norway featured with huge success, increasing the awareness of that country’s music scene and giving the bands a massive leg up within the UK and European markets.
