Grace Solero releases new album and single

Apartheid – (Single) 19th October - New Moon (album) 26th October

Grace Solero’s music possesses certain raw energy that few artists can convincingly convey. Picture a bubbling cauldron of sweat filled, ragged indie rock, throw in Alanis Morissette’s angst driven vocals, mix with Skunk Anansie’s attitude and add a pinch of PJ Harvey and you’ll start to get the idea of her sound.

A glorious sonic collision of musical influences, her album New Moon is bathed in depth and versatility and swoops from the delicate to the extreme. Already championed by The Fly, Time Out and Classic Rock, it is a mesmerising musical repertoire with heartfelt songs, all delivered in Grace’s gutsy, vibrant yet elegant and sexy style. Emerging like a dark pop-rock cloud with its gritty lyricism, soaring riffs and pain ridden vocals, New Moon will be released on 26th October, preceded a week before by the single Apartheid.

Growing up on the exotic Island of Elba off the west coast of Italy, Grace Solero was constantly surrounded by art and creativity. Studying at the Academy of Drama in Rome, she had always been a natural performer and not long after picking up her first guitar her musical gift began to shine.

A free spirit she moved to the UK to form a band. Her vocal versatility caught the ear of Californian guitarist Dan Beaulaurier and an exceptional musical partnership was born.

Adding bass and drums to complete the line up, the quartet began to gain a name for themselves on the underground London music circuit. With Grace’s stunning looks and the band’s passionate performances they began to gain a loyal army of followers and a burning ambition to conquer the UK and beyond.

The success of the band in the UK has since been reported in Grace’s home country and across Europe. A recent cover shoot for Italy Magazine sparked further interest as the Italian Media backed their home grown talent.

Back once again in the UK, Grace Solero will also make an almighty wave on English shores when she shakes stages and blows minds up and down the country.
