Evolution Festival 2013

Spillers Wharf & Baltic Square, Newcastle upon Tyne

Evolution Festival is certainly one of the places to be over the bank holiday -  billed as the North East’s biggest music event the festival will once again see a host of top acts perform over the bank holiday weeknd in May 2013.

The event attracts a crowd of over 60,000 people across the two days, and the Evolution Weekender will see outdoor live music take place in the iconic settings of Spillers Wharf on Newcastle Quayside and Baltic Stage on Gateshead Quays. There's now the brand new folk and roots area; the Ballast Hills stage to add a whole new dimension to this very popular event.

Evolution forms part of NewcastleGateshead’s world-class programme of festivals and events developed by culture10 and signals the beginning of the festival season in the UK.
