The Hebridean Celtic Festival is a four-day musical feast held annually in July in venues throughout the Hebridean islands in Scotland. This Celtic music event features internationally acclaimed artists including the very best of Gaelic talent all set against the unique Hebridean cultural backdrop.
There is an exciting and diverse programme of music, workshops, street performances as well as the rich cultural and historical aspects of the islands to explore.
The festival has seen attendances of over 15,000 enjoying the music on offer with visitors from over 40 countries visiting. The Festival runs for four days and is family-friendly with workshops, street performers, pub sessions, free daytime ceilidhs and face painting for children.
The Festival is largely made possible each year by a huge army of unpaid local volunteers and is a registered charity.
