Rhythms of the World is a huge community celebration of both local and world culture, which takes place each year in Hitchin. Completely organised by volunteers from the community it has grown to be one of the largest celebrations of world music, dance and art in the UK.
You can expect performances of music, dance (and a few surprises) across seven stages, as well as a Family Area, art displays and the acoustic Icehouse Stage.
Set in a parkland area in the centre of Hitchin in Hertfordshire, the festival offers rock, pop, folk, reggae, jazz and classical music from the local area and around the world. An event for all ages and musical tastes.
Rhythms of the World (ROTW) is a registered charity (no. 1090835) led by volunteers. The charity aims to unite communities through the arts by organising an annual festival of music, dance, art and cuisine from around the World.
