HowTheLightGetsIn 2018

 The Globe at Hay, Hereford
HowTheLightGetsIn is the UK's only philosophy and music festival has taken a year out and plans to return in 2018.  The festival will include more than 250 events, over 100 debates and talks, 150 artists and performers, and much more.

Debates and talks will include The Fires of Progress, Killer Stories, The Edge of Reality, Politics and Post Truth, The Secrets of Consciousness, Beyond Black and White, Empire 2.0, The Dark Universe, and Everywhere, Nowhere and Somewhere.

Held in Hay-on-Wye with leading thinkers in every field mix with cutting edge musicians and performers to excite the imagination and renew the spirit. The globe field is a great outdoor space opening out from the existing venue, the 18th Century globe at hay.

The globe field is host to adventurous additional event venues and chill-out spaces. You will find music and talks, cafes to surf the internet with free wifi, workshops for children, intimate philosophy breakfasts and places to relax during the mayhem of the festival with a glass of wine. The globe field means more space to talk, think, dance and play.

The event is run by a charitable, not-for-profit organisation
