The Brighton Festival has running alongside it - the Brighton Festival Fringe. Since its inception in 1967 this fringe festival has grown significantly and is now the third largest Fringe in world after Edinburgh and Adelaide.
Brighton Fringe is also an open access festival, this means that anyone can put on an event and be included in the brochure and website listings on payment of a fee.
Brighton Festival includes theatre, music, dance, performance and books and more.
