Castle Concerts are a series of four concerts held at Rochester Castle, Kent and the 2013 events will happen from Wednesday 17th until Saturday 20th July.

The castle gardens will be open as usual during the day and the gates will be closed to the public from 4pm when people without concert tickets will be asked to leave. Rochester Castle will then re-open to ticket holders only.

A range of hot and cold snacks will be available in the castle gardens. Two bars, selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, will be open during the concerts. They will close 30 minutes before the end of each concert.

You can take food and drink into the venue but not any glasses or glass bottles. No more than one litre of beer or wine per person is permitted.

Barbecues, gas cylinders or flaming torches will not be permitted under any circumstances.

Toilets are available within the castle grounds. Additional public toilets are also available at Northgate – a three minute walk from the venue. You will be allowed to exit and re-enter the venue through a control system at the gate.
