Croissant Neuf Summer Party will take place against the stunning slopes of an Iron Age fort in Usk, Monmouthshire from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th August.
After living through years of the festival circuit, the CNSP organisers have created their family-friendly festival based on their own experiences. The result is a melting pot of music, art, circus, theatre, crafts, stalls and more, set round the ‘village green’ at the heart of the site that allows parents to keep an eye on the brood from every aspect.
With as much emphasis on activities as music there is always something engaging, exciting or eccentric going on- whether it’s taking in walkabout theatre or circus performance; trying out the abundance of arts, crafts and workshops; joining the glow of the night time lamp parade; attempting to master the mutated wonders of the crazy bikes or playing with the treasure-chest of circus equipment poured over the site. There’s even the chance to continue the frenzy of Olympic fever sweeping the country and get active at CNSP’s very own Sports Academy- under the watchful gaze of the team of professional, qualified coaches.
All electricity on site- sound and lights for the stages and stalls- is generated by solar panels and wind turbines, as much waste is recycled as possible and 3 trees are planted to account for every car that brings guests to the site. The delicious food and tipples available are organic and as locally sourced as possible which means guests have been proven to leave a smaller carbon footprint by coming to the festival than if they had stayed at home.
It’s the attention to detail that makes Croissant Neuf Summer Party such an enjoyable, easy and safe place to be. From the barrow boys who help load guest’s luggage from car to campsite, to the army of attendants who keep the loos sparkling through until Monday- everything about the festival is planned so you can just relax, kick back and enjoy.
