Latitude Festival 14 15 and 16 July 2006

Mean Fiddler are launching yet another festival onto an already pretty well subscribed circuit - but they are promising that this one will be different. Advertised as 'more than just music' this one aims to have a chilled out ambiance where people can wander from music to comedy to poetry - art or politics. So what can you expect? according to Melvin Benn "Expect music, art, comedy, cabaret, film, literature, theatre, performance art, dance, sculpture, workshops, restaurants and bars offering waiter service" The aim is for a more European feel to the festival - sounds promising and looks to be shaping up nicely with a great looking line up. Looks like a completely different experience that will appeal to a lot of people who may want to go to a festival but are put off by some of those currently on offer - keep an eye on this one......
