The Glade stage started life at the Glastonbury Festival and was most certainly right out there at the cutting edge of electronic and dance music. In 2004 the team decided to put out own event - thus the Glade Festival was born. It's now earned its wings as a proper full on festival in its own right.
This festival is a great showcase for techno, house, breaks, psy trance, dub, ambient and even more and 2010 will see it return to the Matterley Bowl near Winchester, in Hampshire.
You can expect to find full camping facilities, car park, licenced bars open until late, food stalls and markets, site art, and a whole heap of wierdness and wonderfulness with much more besides.
This is an important festival of its genre - a hugely popular and friendly event that sells out very quickly - so if you want to join in with this one you'd better be quick! it's billed as " Britain's premier underground electronic dance music festival" - we think it's earned the right.
A lot has been invested in the Glade festival and they've got a lot right so expect to be talking about it for the rest of the year!
