Canterbury’s Lounge on the Farm returns for its ninth anniversary on Saturday 2nd August at Merton Farm, Canterbury for a scaled down event.
This will be the last to be held at Merton Farm, ahead of a new site being confirmed for 2015. Farmer Tim has handed over the management of Merton Farm to his son who has decided to move away from large events and concentrate on farming. The restrictions mean that all the action will take place on the one day, with limited camping available.
The line up will include Fun Lovin' Criminals, Peter Hook & The Light (playing a set of classic Joy Division and New Order tracks), DJ Yoda and the Trans-Siberean Marching Band, Courtney Pine, Dub Pistols, DJ Format vs Ollie Teeba (The Herbaliser), DJ Alfredo, Radio Riddler, Si Cranstoun, Broken Hands, The Intermission Project, Coves, The Ramona Flowers, Boo Forever, The Doctorates, Coco and The Butterfields, Gentlemen of Few, Phoebe Warden and Native People.
There will be just 2500 tickets available but organisers promise the same chilled atmosphere, amazing acts and excellent food that Lounge is renowned for.
Adult tickets cost £55, Youth 13-17 are £35 and under 12s are free. Camping will cost £10 per person and will include exclusive campsite entertainment as well as a bar and other facilities. The campsite is over 18 only unless in a family group, camping is limited to 500 people - available via the festival website
