Rugby Music Festival returns to the town on August 18th 2013. Once again, Caldecott Park will be the place to be for music lovers.
Rugby Music Festival will be bigger, louder, brighter, and busier. Set over two stages with at least a dozen acts planned, a “Battle of the Bands“ and lots of other things going on in the Park
A whole afternoon and evening of music from local talent; there will be something for everyone as acts from Rugby and the surrounding areas perform for free.
Ice cream, burgers, drinks and other refreshments will be available. To add to the Festival atmosphere local traders and crafters will be able to take a stall at the event.
Rugby Music Festival is a registered charity. Each year this new charity will deliver the event and encourage the involvement of young people in music and the arts. Money raised by the event each year will be used to invest in the following year’s festival, make a donation to a charity associated with blindness or visual impairment.
Collection money and proceeds of stall sales will be donated to the events selected charity each year. Sponsorship and advertising money will first be used to cover costs and invested in the following year’s event, but surplus monies to this will be passed to the selected charity too.
