Rugby Music Festival returns to the town on August 9th 2014, this year it moves to Whitehall Recreation Ground.
This year will see a massive 20 acts – with bands and singers playing everything from rock to soul, country to jazz-funk, new stuff and old … and everything in between.
A whole afternoon and evening of music from local talent; there will be something for everyone as acts from Rugby and the surrounding areas perform for free.
Ice cream, burgers, drinks and other refreshments will be available. To add to the Festival atmosphere local traders and crafters will be able to take a stall at the event.
Rugby Music Festival is a registered charity. Each year this new charity will deliver the event and encourage the involvement of young people in music and the arts. Money raised by the event each year will be used to invest in the following year’s festival, make a donation to a charity associated with blindness or visual impairment.
Collection money and proceeds of stall sales will be donated to the events selected charity each year. Sponsorship and advertising money will first be used to cover costs and invested in the following year’s event, but surplus monies to this will be passed to the selected charity too.
This event will be entirely free of charge but organisers will be collecting for charity on the day.
