Station Starts Here will be showcasing local musical talent and hosting dance workshops, UV DJ room and creative workshops.

SSH... Station Starts Here kicks off with ‘Fashion Friday’, on Friday 19 October. A fashion show with the theme Re-duce, Re-use, Re-cycle will showcase work by young people, UWE fashion students and local designers.

Days two and three, Saturday 20 – Sunday 21 October, will be the ‘Main Event’ and the ‘Sunday Sessions’ which take on a more festival feel. Organised by Youth For Youth, the Main Event will feature star headliner Tinchy Stryder, a performance by Lace on Lipstick, UV DJ rooms, dress up photo booths, film chill out spaces and performances from Urban Arts Space.

Incorporating music, dance and art, the regional heats of nationwide DJ competition House the House will also take place. A number of workshops will run, supported by Dutty Girl, Bear Moves, Off the Record and Creative Youth Network.
