End Of The Road Festival
10-12th September 2010

The End Of The Road Festival states that it "takes a lot of pride in all the ''little things'' that make a great festival", so  good food good beer, caring and well-mannered staff, hygienic toilets etc. matter, they also tell us that "This is the kind of festival where the ENTIRE line-up is the headliner in itself!

Well - this one only started out in 2006 but was a rip roaring success winning the Best New Festival Award for that year. It certainly seems to be one well worth a visit being fairly intimate with a capacity of only 5,000 people, the organisers promise all acts are 'headline' acts and all will play a longer set than normal. These folk are well into music and showcase new acts alongside the more established performers. The End Of The Road Festival is run by Simon and Sophia and has a Swedish twist....

As well as the music this one will be bringing you:

The Local – a special folk tent inside the beautiful gardens which will play host to pop quizzes, folk idol and general mayhem! this area is being expanded for 2010 to an increase in size will give them their own mini Big Top!
The Tipi Tent - The Tipi Tent for 2010 will be a circular tent of Tipis which are joined together, creating more viewing area, while keeping that magical intimate feel.
A film area - where you can see a range of short films, independent films, documentaries, feature films and music videos.
The End of the Road Comedy stage  - focusing on making you laugh of course!
Workshops - including songwriting workshops, instrument workshops, craft lessons and much more - this is also being increased for both children and adults, offering sessions that will carry on longer into the evening.
A dedicated Children's Area - will feature at End of the Road Festival. There will be entertainment from the Glastonbury Kids Circus, a wide variety of workshops for children, a wooden fort playground and a variety of other child friendly activities. As several of the organisers have small children themselves they are doing their best to make the festival fun and safe for all members of the family! There will be a separate area for family camping too.
Stalls -   A great range of organic and locally produced food will be on offer.

The setting for this festival is a real delight and you will find peacocks wandering around and parrots flying about -  quite a unique event on offer here!
