Wychwood Music Festival
4-6th June 2010

Wychwood was launched very successfully in 2005 at the Cheltenham Racecourse, so it's a young but popular festival. The festival is a great mix of music ranging from world to folk, psychedelic pop to dance. It also has comedy, a solar powered cinema, a circus workshop, performance poetry, yoga amongst a host of other attractions all taking place within a really chilled out atmosphere, it's a real treat for festival fans with a very family orientated ambience. A delightful, ethical and different festival fundraising for Oxfam and Friends Of The Earth. There is a capacity of 7,500 and this one gets a late license - 3am so you really can party the night away! Lot's of really good and clear information on the festival website for this one too.

The festival's name comes from the ancient forest that once covered large parts of Oxfordshire, but the festival has found its own home over in Gloucestershire and is steadily becoming that county's largest music festival.
The Wychwood Music Festival quickly gained a national audience and reputation thanks to its eclectic mix of music and creative programming.

'an excellent hybrid of the Big Chill, WOMAD and The Cambridge Folk Festival'
Time Out

This festival is rapidly gaining a BIG reputation with consistent praise year on year....
