Ticketingdirect.net and 123tickets.net removed from the Internet

Ticketingdirect.net and 123tickets.net have been removed from the internet at the request of the Metropolitan Police

Anyone with information regarding either website should contact Consumer Direct

Oh dear all my suspicions then have come true !! am gutted purchased two tickets as a suprise for my daughter to see Kings of Leon in Manchester June. what can i do now...I spoke to my bank and they said I can claim the money back but have to wait until the date of the concert ?? Is that right.

Any help !! and any suggestions where i could get legit tickets at this late stage for the band in June

I have ordered 4 tickets AC/DC munich and 4 for paris from this ticketingdirect.net company and was not to worried about the money being taken in Hungarian currency as last year the same happened for the Nelson Mandela thing at Hyde park through hydepark tickets though after many phone calls I got hold of some guy who said they did not like sending the ticket too early because of ticket touting and if I phone a mobile number on day of concert I could pick them up at the venue. Well the alam bells went off big time as I was travelling from Bonnie Scotland but surprise surprise I arrived at Hyde park phoned the number and the guy answered and was actually standing about 6 ft to my left. So hopefully the the same thing might happen this year (though I seriously doubt it) so if youir not sure only use pucker sites and if not make sure you pay by credit card..    

I think the very fact that the tickets were dehosted by Police on suspicion of fraud says it all!

I think i am again another victim of this scam i ordered 4 AC/DC tickets for June in the Wembley stadium, tried to email ticketingdirect as i couldnt find the website replied to the original email and did recieve one email saying not to worry that they were having problems with the website and it was under maintenance and to leave it for a couple of days and re-enter personal details again but not to worry  as long as i had received the original email there was no problem and my tickets would be dispatched nearer the concert date. Again like every one else the money was over what i was quoted and BUDAPEST showed up on the statement.

Any one know whats the next step and advise me who to contact. Purchased tickets on credit card (first time) any advice of recovering money.

If your purchase is by credit card and over £100 you have a statutory right to claim the money back from your credit card company

You can do this udner section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974

Simply quote that to your credit card issuer
