Moby Among First Acts Announced For Wakestock

The Zutons, Chase & Status and Red Light Company will also be helping out with the 10th anniversary celebrations!

The first acts have been confirmed for Wakestock 2009. Moby, The Zutons, Chase & Status and Red Light Company will all be on hand to make sure those 10th anniversary celebrations are something to be remembered.

Moby, has album sales well over the 20 million mark from songs like ‘Go’, ‘Porcelain’ and ‘We are all made of Stars’ amongst many others. Moby’s legendary live performances make him one of the world’s favourite festival artists.

The Zutons  will return to Abersoch for the second time after packing out our main arena in 2006. Their song ‘Valerie’ is now legendary and ‘Why won’t you give me your Love’ another top 10 single, both feature in their extensive festival set list.

On the D&B side Wakestock have Chase & Status featuring Plan B, Takura & Rage. These guys are on the rapid rise to stardom. Tracks that have featured heavily on Radio 1 & music channels are ‘Pieces’ and their latest ‘Against all Odds’.
The  final announcement concerns a band that are going to be big by July, fact! Red Light Company release their infectious single ‘Arts & Crafts’ and album ’Fine Fascination’ on March 2nd. Get a copy and be ready for some serious sing-a-long anthems at Relentless Wakestock 09.

Wakestock is Europe's largest wakeboard music festival which happens from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July where you can combine  wakeboarding during the day and relax in the (hopefully) sunshine and then be part of some some funky full-on  music by moonlight. The festival site is situated next to a beautiful beach.

Watch the competition for the wakeboard title live as it happens and enjoy top class bands and DJ's, there will be ooddles of  food stalls offering a range of different snacks and meals as well as several bars and a funfair if you fancy just a bit more excitement!.
