Jaguar Skills, The Skints and Imperial Leisure among the newly confirmed acts
Relentless NASS have added Plan B, Tinie Tempah, Wiley, Devlin, Ghetts, The Skints, Imperial Leisure,Backbeat Soundsystem, Jaguar Skills, and Tek-One.
As Relentless NASS music steps up a gear this year you'll find increased offerings across the 4 stages as the Exmoor Bar returns with a new live act approach. The Relentless NASS third stage will see live performances from The Qemists Soundsystem, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Telegraphs, This City, Crazy Arm, Chickenhawk, and Young Guns. After midnight the venue will have special guest DJ sets from Gallows (DJ Set), Goldierocks, and Howling Les.
This event aims to merge music and sport, bringing together Extreme and Street Sports, including displays and competitions from skateboarders, snowboarders and BMX bikes, by presenting bike and board sports platforms along with live music entertainment on Friday and Saturday. The show has a dedicated family camping area, youth group camping area, crèche, childrens play area and extreme funfair.
Headlining the main stage are Bowling for Soup, and Chase & Status with Hadouken! also confirmed. The first acts confirmed are for the indoor arena with Andy C with MC GQ, Nero & MC Jakes, Friction, Danny Bird, Crissy Criss, Klimax & Benny MC, Caspa & Rod Azlan, Krafty Kuts, Kidda, Charlie G, and Freerange DJs all announced.
After a great music offering last year the sports events are now highlighted as the event grows into a truly rich action sport event, attracting the biggest names in the sports, both skateboarding and inline have received World tour sanctions for 2010.
Relentless NASS 2010 brings World Cup (WC) Skateboarding to the UK for the first time since 2003. 2009 WC rankings featured Paul Rodriguez, Chaz Ortiz, Chris Cole and Ryan Sheckler. Expect to see them and many other top internationals at the showground this year.
The 2010 skate disciplines at Relentless NASS include World Cup street, NASS UK street champs and the Relentless Goliath, Europe’s largest ramp.
BMX also receives an increased purse with disciplines including street, dirt and the Relentless Goliath. Relentless NASS is also in discussions with other European events to unify and create a European BMX series attracting the stars of the sport including Relentless team and Dew Tour rider Mark Webb.
Inline will also return as part of the World Rolling Series with events taking place in street and you can expect other events in mountain bike, slalom skate and parkour.
The Relentless NASS Festival takes place at the Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th July.
