Creamfields adds an extra day for campers
Two ‘Silent Disco’ arenas have been introduced and there will be a showcase of the Swedish House Mafia movie ‘Take One’
Creamfields have just announced that they have added a third day to the event which takes place in Daresbury, Cheshire on August Bank Holiday weekend, the event will now open its gates to campers on Friday 26th August. Becoming a 3 day camping event will not only improve ease of access to the site for festival goers but there will also be an array of entertainment on offer within the main event site including a showcase of the Swedish House Mafia movie ‘Take One’ which charts the lives of the International DJ trio over 2 years covering 15 countries and 285 shows.
Friday also sees the debut of two ‘Silent Disco’ arenas at the festival, the first of which will be hosted by Size Matters, Steve Angello’s world famous party brand, with performances from Steve’s latest Size Records protégés Tim Mason and Third Party.
Creamfields also welcomes Mixmag’s monthly party ‘That Mixmag Thing’ to host the second silent disco arena with performances from the Scratch Perverts, BBC Radio 1’s Jaymo & Andy George, Brookes Brothers, Futurebound, Clique DJ’s and more. The mag’s popular night began just over a year ago and has already seen a host of hot new electronic acts pass through its doors as well as the odd superstar DJ.
Campers arriving on the Friday will also be able to chill out at the festival’s on-site cinema which will be showing a collection of iconic clubbing films as well as enjoying all the fun of the fair, stalls and more, the main arena site’s food and drink stalls will also be open for the new arrivals.
