Franz Ferdinand are the latest act confirmed for Barcelona

The Scottish band Franz Ferdinand will be playing at the next edition of San Miguel Primavera Sound. Rumour has it that Franz Ferdinand are gearing up for a major tour next year.

Primavera Sound is an annual music festival based in Barcelona, the event is based right on the coast with stages on the beach.

Acts already confirmed include Archers Of Loaf, Beach House, Björk, Codeine, Death Cab For Cutie, Death In Vegas,  Godflesh, Guided By Voices, Jeff Mangum (Neutral Milk Hotel), Josh T. Pearson, Lisabö, Mudhoney, Neon Indian, Other Lives, SBTRKT, Shellac, Siskiyou, Spiritualized, The Dirty Three, The Drums, The Olivia Tremor Control, The xx, Veronica Falls, Washed Out, Wilco and Yo La Tengo.
