The Croissant Neuf Summer Party team have announce their initial line-up for 2011, with acts including Steve Knightley and The Beat.
Croissant Neuf Summer Party is an independent family festival that takes place at a beautiful site near Usk in Monmouthshire. Multi-award winning and with a unique green outlook, the festival has developed from over twenty years experience as the centrepiece of Glastonbury’s Green Fields and Big Green Gathering. The festival is a relaxed haven set next to a beautiful Iron Age Hill Fort. The weekend is ideal for families and first time festival goers due to the welcoming community atmosphere that prevails across the site.
The Shepton Mallet based organisers, Andy Hope, Sally Howell and Luke Howell recently received a People and Environment Award (PEA) to a growing collection and are hoping to provide the best festival yet this August.
Croissant Neuf boasts some seriously innovative green solutions including an entirely solar powered site, organic food, organic tipples at the Stagger Inn and a promise that three trees will be planted onsite for every car that brings guests to the festival. An Environmental Audit commissioned for last year’s festival showed that Summer Party festival goers generated on average less than 50% of the CO2 than if they’d stayed at home and had a normal weekend. The main stage is no exception to the green credentials and the famous solar powered Big Top will be home to an exciting line-up.
The line-up provides the perfect soundtrack to a magical weekend that includes circus and open mic acts and wealth of activities, crafts and workshops for old and young.
Adult Tickets are £88, Students £70 with Kids Tickets £35 (Under 5s free!)
