Released 5th December plus headline show at The Lexington
Having recently released their debut album ‘Lights Out’ to widespread critical acclaim, it is with great excitement that Big Deal unveil details of their new single 'Distant Neighborhood', out on Mute on 5 December 2011. In addition the band unveil details of their forthcoming headline show at The Lexington on 21st November 2011, with support from Famy and TOY.
Distant Neighborhood introduces ‘Lights Out’, a sweeping, sun-kissed track full of nostalgic guitar chords and poignant vocals. A future slacker anthem, the song plays out with Kacey and Alice repeating “I wish you well and I wish you away.”
Through their live performances earlier on in the year at the NME Radar tour, various summer festivals including Reading and Leeds, headlining their own UK tour and most recently supporting Cloud Control on tour, Big Deal have carved themselves a reputation for bewitching audiences with their raw, emotively rich sound. On 21st November ticket holders will once again be given the chance to experience Big Deal at London’s Lexington.
