Celebrating 17 years in the business with a weekend of all the best in techno, acid house and bass music

The Bugged Out Weekender arrives at Butlins this January with Chase @ Status, Diplo SBTRKT and more
as Bugged Out celebrate 17 in the business, the first acts for the weekender have now been announced for one of the UK’s longest running club nights branching into a full on weekender for 2012.

The Bugged Out Weekender promises to reflect the clubs history and future with a programme consisting of all the best in techno, acid house and bass music. Relatively new acts and collectives like Joy Orbison and Night Slugs will feature on the same bill as globally huge DJs like Diplo and Chase & Status and Bugged Out legends like techno founders Green Velvet and Kevin Saunderson.  The dance scene is pushing the boundaries like no other genre of late and the weekender intends to reflect and capture this.

The first acts have been announced and these include Diplo, Chase & Status (DJ Set), Erol Alkan, Simian Mobile Disco, Sub Focus, 16bit, Friction, Zinc, Redlight, SBTRKT, Joy Orbison, Martyn, Julio Bashmore, James Holden, James Holroyd, Matt Walsh, and Casper C.

The club partners so far confirmed for the weekend are the mighty Union who run club nights all over the UK, headed up by Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990 they’ll be joining up with Glasgow’s Numbers gang who have also been responsible for some of the best music released in recent years, London’s best bar Dalston Superstore will be bringing Horse Meat Disco’s Severino and Batty Bass’s Hannah Holland along to pull the pints.

Tickets are on sale now and include three night's accommodation - Friday/Saturday and Sunday and prices vary due to standards of accommodation.
