Chase and Status are the first act to be confirmed for this year

Chase and Status have just been confirmed as the headliners for the first night of London's South West Four Weekender this summer.

The festival is due to take place on August 25–26 on Clapham Common. Chase and Status are the only act confirmed to play so far, with other acts set to be added in the coming weeks.

For the first time London's SW4 weekender will cease at 10pm, so that’s an extra hour to indulge in the electronic sights, sounds and lights that typify this event.  

Expect a host of DJ debuts, live acts, an improved sound system and much more this year
