Daddy or chips - which line up will rule?

Lostprophets and The Blackout have selected some of their favourite bands to play at Merthyr Rock 2012.

Headlining for Lostprophets are the excellent Pulled Apart By Horses, while the mighty A have reformed for to headline The Blackout‘s stage. Which line up will rule the weekend?

Lostprophets Takeover line up - Pulled Apart by Horses, Save Your Breath, Neil Starr & Gavin Butler, Exit_International, Black And Reds, Bastions, Astroid Boys, The Dead Formats.

The Blackout Takeover line up -  A (festival exclusive), Canterbury, Marmozets, Proxies, Page 44, Blowgoat, Verses, Buried in Alaska.

Razorlight, Skindred and Kids In Glass Houses are set to headline the main stages over the weekend.

Advance Weekend tickets are £65, advance day tickets are priced at Friday £20, Sat or Sun £25. Camping is £15 per person, for 3 nights (Fri, Sat, Sun) Merthyr Rock is a 14+ years only event and under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Merthyr Rock is the UKs newest 3 day alt/rock festival set in the heart of Wales. The festival will run from Friday 31st August- Sunday 2nd September 2012.
