3,000 additional weekend tickets for the event are now available

With Reading Festival fast approaching Festival Republic have announced that an additional 3,000 weekend tickets for the event are now available.

With Reading tickets on the verge of selling out by the coming weekend Reading Borough Council have this week approved an increase in capacity to 89,999.
These tickets will be the last ones available from official ticket agents and outlets so be sure to book now to guarantee your place at this unmissable festival.
Please note that Reading Sunday day tickets are sold out and only a small number of Reading Friday and Saturday day tickets remain. Festival goers are reminded that there will be no on site box office this year, so tickets must be purchased in advance.

NCP car parks are offering a limited number of guaranteed car parking spaces for the Reading Festival in their NCP Garrard Street car park.  The car park is located opposite the main Reading train station, from where you can then get a shuttle bus direct to the site, or walk the 15 mins to site.

There are only 500 car park spaces for festival-goers though and the festival rate is a reduced £20, plus £1.50 booking fee, for the entire festival (Wednesday 22nd August – Monday 27th August). You can book now by calling NCP direct on 0845 050 7086, Monday – Friday 12 noon until 5pm.  Once you have your car park exit ticket, you will need to keep hold of this all weekend, so please keep it somewhere very safe, like the lockers on G4 road.
Headliners this year are The Cure, Kasabian and Foo Fighters alongside many more artists including: The Black Keys, Paramore, Florence + the Machine, Kaiser Chiefs, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Vaccines, Justice, The Maccabees, At The Drive-In, Less Than Jake, Metronomy, Sleigh Bells, The View, Social Distortion, Reginald D Hunter, Lee Nelson, Jason Byrne - just some of the bands and acts preforming at this year’s festival.
Please be sure to buy from legitimate primary sites only - if in doubt check the Safeconcerts Be Ticket Safe Directory ®
Reading & Leeds Festivals are held on 24th - 26th August 2012 at Little John’s Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds.
