Reading and Leeds Festival Republic Stage line up announced today

Sleigh Bells, Feeder, The Subways, Young Guns, The View and many more confirmed

Reading & Leeds Festival have just announced the line up for the Festival Republic Stage.
 
Sleigh Bells, Feeder & Young Guns, The View and a very special closing DJ set from Bassnectar are the headliners. They will join Futureheads (playing an a capella & acoustic set) and The Subways alongside over thirty other acts who have secured a slot on this coveted stage with psychedelia courtesy of the likes of S.C.U.M. and TOY, classic songwriters like Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Lucy Rose and rock sensibilities from Lower Than Atlantis and Don Broco amongst many more.
 
Cornwall folk-punks quartet Crowns have also been added as the opening act on the Lock Up Stage on Friday in Leeds and Sunday in Reading.

The full additions for this stage are - Sleigh Bells, Feeder, The View, The Subways, Young Guns, Futureheads (acapella & acoustic), Veronica Falls, Lower Than Atlantis, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Bastille, Bassnectar (closing DJ set), King Charles, Niki and the Dove, We Are The In Crowd, 2:54, Zulu Winter, Dog Is Dead, Lucy Rose, Jake Bugg, S.C.U.M., Alt J, Don Broco, Alberta Cross, We Are Augustines, Oberhofer, Iceage, Jeff The Brotherhood, The Knux, DZ Deathrays, Savages, Citizens!, Toy, Fidlar, Theme Park, Deap Vally, Palma Violets, The Minutes, The Cast of Cheers, O Brother, Blood or Whiskey and L.A.
 
These latest acts join the likes of Foo Fighters, The Cure, Kasabian, The Black Keys, Paramore, Florence And The Machine, The Maccabees, Social Distortion, At The Drive-In, Justice, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, Graham Coxon, Mastodon, Passion Pit, Mark Lanegan Band, Less Than Jake, Anti Flag, Metronomy and Katy B and many more.

Reading and Leeds Festival take place over the August Bank Holiday at Little John’s Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds.
 
Many more names are still to be announced including the full line-up for the BBC Introducing Stage and the Alternative Stage.
