Tickets were still being sold on line 3 days ago despite cancellation
Future Festival was due to be held at the Lincolnshire Showground from 27 to 29 July, tickets were still being sold up to 3 days ago at up to £70 online although the event had been cancelled. The showground has confirmed it will no longer be hosting the event.
The event was being organised by Danny Brewster. Mr Brewster has told the BBC that he had sold Future Entertainment Ltd - the company planning the festival - and separated himself from it "legally and lawfully".
The festival website now bears the following message:
Upon notice from BBC Lincolnshire, the old directors have gained access to the domain name removed the website and will refund all tickets and caterers.
Ramluda Antonictvius (a name that was provided to the media which wasn't broadcast) the new owner of Future Entertainment Ltd has kindly gone back on all agreements upon taking over the company which has now left the old directors seeking legal advice regarding incorrect names being used within the media.
Please email email@example.com and monies will be refunded personally by one of the previous directors of Future Entertainment Ltd.
