More acts added to Cambridge Folk Festival

Baaba Maal, KT Tunstall, Lady Maisery and more just confirmed

Cambridge Folk Festival have announced the next round of acts who will be heading to Cherry Hinton Hall this July.

Adding to an eclectic bill will be trailblazing world music star, Senegalese singer and guitarist Baaba Maal, Brit and Ivor Novello Award-winning singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, Chris Wood, John McCusker Band, led by BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2016 Good Tradition winner, Scottish multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer John McCusker, BBC Folk Singer of the Year 2015, Nancy Kerr & The Sweet Visitor Band, Applewood Road  featuring Emily Barker, Amber Rubarth and Amy Speace, US singer-songwriter Sam Outlaw, Nashville based bluegrass band Della Mae, Yorkshire folk duo O’Hooley & Tidow, Haitian-American folk and classical musician Leyla McCalla, Massachusetts quartet Darlingside, blues singer and multi-instrumentalist Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton, folk big band Världens Band, with fourteen members from three continents creating captivating world music, English vocal harmony trio Lady Maisery and Georgia Shackleton Trio.

These new acts join the previously announced Christy Moore, Gogol Bordello, Imelda May, Glen Hansard, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Afro Celt Sound System, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Kate Rusby, Eliza Carthy & The Wayward Band, Jon Boden, Songs of Separation, Sam Lee & Friends, Michael McGoldrick Band, Blazin’ Fiddles, Solas, Edward II, Le Vent du Nord, Duncan Chisholm, Kíla, Breabach, Hot 8 Brass Band, Cash Box Kings, This Is The Kit, Stick In The Wheel, Seafret, The Mike + Ruthy Band, Will Varley, Lisa O’Neill, Brian McNeill, Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys, Ímar, Glorystrokes, Steamchicken, The Dovetail Trio, Flats & Sharps, Funbox, Silent Ceilidh and The BarrowBand

Tickets are now on sale Full Festival: Adult £159, Adult (18-21) £125, Teen (16-17) £95.50, Child (5-15) £44.50, Infant (0-4) free. Day tickets: Thursday £26.50, Friday £57.50, Saturday £67.50, Sunday £67.50. 
Camping: (Full Festival tickets only, per 2-3 berth tent) Cherry Hinton £63.50, Coldham’s Common (second site) £43.50. All ticket prices include booking fees.   Available from the Festival Website
