Castlepalooza will be bringing together an eclectic mix of homegrown and international music acts, arts, food and festival fun to the wooded wonderland of Charleville Castle from the 4th to the 6th August 2017.
The first batch of acts confirmed for this year's festivities has been announced. The Laughter Lab comedy stage has Deirdre O’Kane who will headline on Sunday night supported by Kevin Mc Gahern. PJ Gallagher who stole the show previously will headline on Saturday night supported by Colm O' Regan.
Castlepalooza will feature a number of workshops programmed over the weekend designed to give you a lift and make you feel good just when festival fatigue starts to kick in. So keep an eye out for dance, yoga, burlesque and numerous craft workshops.
Castlepalooza takes place in one of the most beautiful festival sites in the country, the centre-piece of which is Charleville Castle - a 17th century medieval structure steeped in history and myth. The castle is subject to an important restoration fund and heritage trust to which Castlepalooza donates every year. Charleville castle is situated in the oldest primordial oak wood in Ireland populated with the most weird and wonderful trees. The building itself is often referenced by paranormal enthusiasts as one of the most haunted properties in Europe.
Castlepalooza 2017 tickets are priced at €119 (weekend with camping) and €109 (weekend) are on sale now from the Festival Website.
