The Cinematic Orchestra added to Blissfields

Plus DJ Yoda, Pumerosa, Flamingods, Tom Grennan, DJ Lucky & MC Neat and more

Blissfields have announced the second wave of acts joining the likes of Metronomy, Lady Leshurr, and Sundara Karma for “The Bizarre” themed 2017 outing.

Friday night headline duties on the main stage will rest with the hugely influential The Cinematic Orchestra. Usually reserved for the likes of the Sydney Opera House and London’s Barbican, Roundhouse and Royal Albert Hall venues. They’ll provide the ultimate soundscape to Friday night - an epic, heart-achingly sad, but beautiful and uplifting show - unlike any other event this summer. The recently released track ‘To Believe’ features the much talked about, LA-based vocalist Moses Sumney, hailed as a one-to-watch by The Fader and artists including Beck, Sufjan Stevens, Solange and James Blake.

They nod to Blissfields’ dedication to curate a festival line-up that is never afraid to be different. In the same vein, “The Bizarre” theme continues with DJ Yoda who will be performing his Stranger Things Mixtape live with a multi screen audio-visual experience as the show’s Thursday night headline act on the newly expanded and conceptualised Larch Stage. Soundtracks return with their colossal record bag of pop anthems, playing all the best bits from the films.

Fresh arrivals into “The Bizarre” now include the stylish guitar pop Pumarosa, mesmerizingly psychedelic Flamingods, and Tom Grennan – who just featured as lead vocalist on Chase & Status’ huge ‘All Goes Wrong’ track - and The Japanese House who took the #4 spot on NME’s essential new music for 2017 poll.
Tickets are priced at £95 for an adult weekend ticket, with no booking fee.

Blissfields will take place on the 6th to the 8th July 2017 at Vicarage Farm, Woodmancott, Winchester, Hampshire
