Final announcements for Beermageddon

The Bass Assassin #2 - Alan Davey to pay tribute to Lemmy

Beermageddon have wanted to pay tribute to the legend Lemmy but wanted to do it right, and at the right time. This is where Alan 'Boomer' Davey steps in, he is the only bassist Lemmy ever credited as a fellow 'Bass Assassin' on Motorhead's Orgasmatron album and he is bringing a very special show to Beermageddon....

Alan began Ace of Spades back in 1999, and at the Brixton Academy Hawkestra gig in 2000 was endorsed by Lemmy himself. If Ace of Spades is good enough for Lemmy, it's damn well what we want at Beermageddon! Joining Boomer will be 2 great professional musicians.......

On drums: 'Magpie' who has played with Wurzel, Ex-Iron Maiden and Lionheart guitarist Dennis Stratton and ex- Gillan/Ozzy guitarist Bernie Torm'e. He was also asked to replace Animal Taylor after he left for the 2nd time and recorded 4 demo tracks for the 'March or Die' album.

On Guitar: 'Neil Archer' who has toured with Chicken Shack and formed a band with Robert Plant for a charity event.

This is a very special moment for Beermageddon closing the festival, paying tribute to a legend with the one person who knows Lemmy's playing better than any other, Alan Davey playing Ace Of Spades!!

Also confirmed for the event are Countless Skies, Isarnos, Triverse Massacre, Footprints In The Custard, Bloodyard, Deep Throat Trauma and Fallen Titan.

Beermageddon takes place on the 25th to the 27th August 2017 at The Black Horse Inn, Alfreton, Derbyshire
