Reading & Leeds Alternative Stage announced

Simon Amstell, Bill Bailey, Katherine Ryan, The Rubberbandits and more

Reading & Leeds Festival has announced more names across the music stages, with comedians and popular club nights joining the Alternative Stage for the Bank Holiday weekend.
 
Comedians Simon Amstell, Bill Bailey, Katherine Ryan, Seann Walsh (Reading Only), Tape Face, Jonathan Pie and Iain Stirling have all been confirmed. Further Alternative Stage appearances will come from Josie Long, The Rubberbandits, Joe Lycett, Tiff Stevenson (Leeds Only), Daniel Sloss, Ivo Graham, Dane Baptiste (Reading Only), Suzi Ruffell (Leeds Only), Matt Richardson (Reading only), Elliot Steel, Sean Mcloughlin, Kiri Pritchard-Mclean (Leeds Only), Lloyd Griffith, Fin Taylor (Leeds Only), Lauren Pattison (Leeds Only), Jonny Awsum (Reading Only), Steve Hall (Reading Only), Flo & Joan (Reading Only), Masud Milas (Reading Only). Your MCs for the weekend are Pierre Novellie, Mark Olver and James Gill. 
 
Indie club night Propaganda will provide a late night disco soundtrack with special guest appearances lined up from Blossoms. WiFi Wars will be bringing their interactive comedy show, Buttoned Down Disco bring the multi-genred hits, Hot Dub Time Machine and Rave Karaoke are also confirmed.
 
Neck Deep, Sigrid, The View, Fekky, Get Inuit, 67 and PINS have all been added to the bill. Further appearances will come from the likes of Lea Porcelain, Fizzy Blood, Otherkin, The LaFontaines, All Tvvin, Baby In Vain, K.I.D and Father. 
 
Headline sets for 2017 come from Eminem, Muse and Kasabian.

Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds on the 25 to the 27th August 2017
