Well, we're going to Bloodstock - there's still time for you to get there.

The world of entertainment has taken a bit of a back seat to the Olympics at the moment, inevitably (go Team GB!), so unless you are interested in tales of tumbleweed blowing across some uncharacteristically empty festival sites then all is deadly quiet... That's why we're off to Bloodstock, a rare animal in the festival calendar as we have never heard a bad word said about it. If you fancy a weekend of metal and rock then get yourself to Bloodstock, you can still buy tickets at the box office, so as far as spur of the moment decisions go you'd be hard pushed to beat it. Once the closing ceremony has finished it will be business as usual as we head towards V Festival and then Reading and Leeds. If you are so over the Olympics, you're nearly back to normality.
