Counting Crows hail from Berkeley in California. Counting Crows achieved much attention and gained mass popularity in 1994 with their debut album August and Everything After, the album featured the hit single "Mr. Jones."
Band members are Adam Duritz - Vocals and Piano, Charles Gillingham - Piano, Organ, Mellotron, Harmonica, and Accordian, Dan Vickrey - Guitar and Banjo, David Immergluck - Guitar, Mandolin, Pedal Steel, and Bass, David Bryson - Guitar, Jim Bogios - Drums.
The band's influences include Van Morrison, R.E.M., Nirvana, Bob Dylan, and The Band. In 2004 they received an Academy Award nomination for the song "Accidentally in Love".
Counting Crows have become well known for the energetic, vibrant and enthusiastic way they perform and they certainly showed this off to perfection with a stunning set at Scotland's T in the Park.
