Sunday July 13th saw Kings of Leon play the main stage at T in the Park.
Kings of Leon are an American rock band consisting of the three Followill brothers (Caleb, Nathan, and Jared), and their cousin (Matthew Followill), the home base is in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, United States.
This is a band with a steady and ever growing following, the brothers father, Leon, was a travelling evangelist so the guys grew up on the road their ears ringing with evangelical preaching, they were schooled at home in downtime by their mother. Their music is clearly grounded in their religious upbringing toned up (or down) with liberal sprinklings of alcoholic beverages laced with a lot of life lived young.
In concert, the Kings delight and deliver all the while growing and evolving into something that has an enduring staying power guaranteed to be around for some considerable time to come.
