Sunday July 13 saw King Tuts Wah Wah Tent play host to the new darlings on the scene The Ting Tings. The tent was rammed to the rafters but  hundreds of slightly disappointed fans had to make do with listening to them on the grass outside, such was the popularity of The Ting Tings at T in the Park.

Fairly new to the scene the Ting Tings consist of just two band members who are Jules De Martino (drums, vocals) and Katie White (vocals, guitar, bass drum).

The Ting Tings formed in 2006 while based at Islington Mill, Salford and since a storming appearance at Glastonbury in 2007 they've been on a high and with much exposure the single   That's Not My Name has catapulted them to the forefront of the indie - pop scene.
