Jamie Cullum that night was simply breath-taking. It was my first time seeing this man live- however hopefully not the last. Despite being a huge fan of this man, I didn't quite know what to expect of him live. At first the crowd seemed a little stiff, however, I think this was because I was surrounded my stuck up posh twats. Jamie however, wasn't long in making the evening have a real atmosphere. The second he started singing, I was hooked. I can safely say out of every single singer and band I have experienced live, none of them could sing like he can. I was certainly not expecting such a loud, bold, yet beautiful voice. After he sang a couple of songs, he interacted with the crowd, and his use of topical humour kept me bemused. He spoke about the politic problems that were going on at the time. I thought he was hilarious, and came across so down to Earth and friendly. He played a variety of songs, including my favourite "Photograph", and a few of his cover songs, my favourite "The wind cries Marry". He may be the only musician that can manage to cover a Jimi Hendrix song extremely well. Near the end, he jumped into the crowd and got everyone up dancing. I could have only wished it had been me down there. I genuinely hope Jamie makes a return to Glasgow soon, perhaps he should go back to basics with a small gig venue, now that would be something.
Friendly but to the point :]
The venue was a very nice place. It brought back some amazing memories from when I was in the North Ayrshire choir when we sang there. However, I am more of a smaller gig venue fan, and there was too many posh people for my liking. The looks me and my mother received for kidding around was appalling. However, I didn't allow them to waste my night and I still had a fantastic time :D

What a brilliant performance. He was such good entertainment even my 6 year old enjoyed it especially when Jamie ''freaked out" on the piano even playing it with his bum and any items he could throw at it! The sound was amazing- what a voice, we especially liked it when he got a beat going with his hands, piano and voice which eventually became a chart song(not one of his) and when he sang in the stalls with the bass player at one point and didnt even use his microphone! The song he sung was fantastic.
He spoke to us like he knew us and detailed what each song was about. His brother also sung with him which was a nice touch. The drummer was also brilliant in his solo act -at this point Jamie sat down in the audience to watch! He even got us all harmonising to see what it would sound like in such a lovely place and it sounded terrific. He said we would have to grab him off the stage with a stick as he was enjoying himself so much which you could tell. You certainly got your moneys worth!
There was a good mix of all ages and a good atmosphere anybody would enjoy this, it was the best my husband and i have been to what a good night keep it going Jamie you are a star!!!
