Entertainment:

Imagine, chessboard stage & stairs, large palm tree to the left of the stage, large white piano just off centre stage – then appears the quirky fun loving character that is Paloma at the top of the stairs – every inch a princess in her full length peacock green dress with diamonte encrusted peacock feathers on the shoulders and a huge collar, like a ‘white lace fan’ – gracefully stepping down on the stage. Her red locks tucked into a diamonte head dress. Songs included an amazing version of The truth or something beautiful + remixed extension of the song. How Paloma was jumping up and down in those (which looked like 9” heels) I’ll never know. She sang an Etta James song, some new songs which will be on her 2nd cd. One in particular was great - addressing girls who are not into diets, something like “love us for our cellulite”. A sweet Nick Cave song “In your arms” – accompanied by the pianist only. The finale being New York which had everyone singing along. Loved her comments between songs with her cheeky giggles!
Security:
Bags searched at the entrance and staff easy to see with black t shirts with "staff" written on the back.
Venue:
The atmosphere was great - a cosy type of venue.
